Why you should parboil your noodles

Let us talk about instant noodles. 

Instant noodles are precooked, in the form of string slices, having their own seasoned flavored powder in a separate packet. 

 This type is a fan favorite, due to its ease of preparation and accessible ingredients. But the real deal is this; 

Are we really preparing our noodles the right way? ( you should give an answer to that). We should know that noodles are highly processed, and are made to bear a longer shelf life. And this brings us to our discussion topic – why we should parboil our noodles.

Noodles contain chemical preservatives, basically (tertiary-butyl hydroquinone) known as TBHQ. This chemical preservative gives the noodles a lengthy shelf life and direct consumption of noodles could be extremely damaging to human health. And following a nutritious manner, the better way to prepare your noodles to stay secure from these chemical dangers is to get them parboiled.

 Here are notable steps taken, to prepare a healthy and delicious noodle:

  • After you must have gotten your cooking pot and gas, you put water on the pot, leaving it to boil for about 3 minutes.
  • You then add the noodles, leaving them to boil for about 2 minutes. Then you place in a sieve the noodles to put away the wax (chemical preservatives)
  • After you must have put away the wax, prepare your noodles as desired. 

  One could be opened to the following dangers if noodles aren’t parboiled before consumption. Blood fat, obesity, and cholesterol crystal as a result of unhealthy saturated fats and glycemic loads.

There is no single method of preparing noodles, but whichever method is being used, there is a need to parboil before carrying out every other cooking process.
