The results of the US 2020 presidential election are pouring in as election officials continue to count ballots across the country.
According to the Associated Press, President Donald Trump currently has 214 electoral votes while former Vice President Joe Biden has 264. A presidential nominee must have at least 270 electoral votes to win the election.
So far, 45 states have been called with Trump winning 23 of them and Biden also winning 22 including Washington, DC.
Now, the presidency hinges on tight races in a few battleground states — including North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada. Alaska is the fifth and final state to have not declared a winner, but the traditionally Republican state is expected to declare Trump its winner.
