4 Dangerous Effects of Procrastination
Procrastination! Procrastination! Procrastination!.. just as it is being written repeatedly, so also it depicts in one’s life, for it is an act you do each moment and day(repeatedly).
What is procrastination? It is the habit of delaying to do something. Being always fond of postponing a supposed task to be done.
Here are the dangerous Effects of Procrastination. They are:
- It brings about a low self esteem: low self esteem results to lack of confidence, and this is highly destructive to an individual’s self growth.
- Aimless vision: vision serves as a map of one’s life goal. But the habit of procrastinating makes one’s vision unpurposeful.
- Inability to achieve a goal: it can be said to be so impossible to make any progress in line with your planned out goals, if living in procrastination.
- Enjoyment of comfort zone: procrastination keeps you always at your comfort zone, since you always shun doing what should be done either knowingly or unknowingly.
The most intriguing part about procrastinators is that, they know all that is right to be done, but finds it hard to carry it out at that moment. Every procrastinator, is aware of the rights to be done at the supposed time, but they find it so joyous to do it some other time.
In other words, procrastinators hinder their own progress, and could change positively if only they set limits towards that which shouldn’t be done at the right time.
