
There’s this unfortunate tendency to start to lose sight of the goals you had set at the beginning of the year, barely 3 months into it
Sometimes, fear, doubt and uncertainty are what settles into your mind, and before you know it, you’ll start to see all the reasons why you cannot achieve these goals
But hey, I have a formula for you, to help you achieve everything you’ve planned out to achieve.
USE AFFIRMATIONS
Affirmation is declaring to yourself what you want to see happen in your life. What happens is that your mind begins to retain those words as true, and this is how new thought patterns are formed
For instance, if you fear that you’ll be unable to finish a project, affirm to yourself daily that you are a finisher, with the wisdom to complete anything you start
This has worked for me several times
STAY MOTIVATED
Motivation is like the engine oil that keeps a car moving. Without it, the car’s movement is slow paced or restricted entirely.
This is the same thing that happens when you lack the motivation to carry on.
So, this year, hang around thought leaders, industry experts, or any body that inspires you to keep moving
REFLECT AND ADJUST
Some things might go wrong at some point. What you had expected to happen may not, and you will be gravely disappointed.
When this happens, you must be ready take things into account, with the readiness to change processes
BE DETERMINED TO EXECUTE
Someone told me on watch night day that 2021 isn’t the year to keep saying, “I want to do this or that” and I agree.
