Presidency says Buhari briefed by IGP on ENDSARS campaign
– Presidency said President Muhammadu Buhari has been briefed about the grievances of Nigerian on police brutality
– Media aide to the president, Bashir Ahmad, said Buhari was notified on Thursday by the police IG Mohammed Adamu
– Ahmad assured aggrieved Nigerians that President Buhari will give fresh directives in the interest of the people
Presidency said President Muhammadu Buhari has been briefed on the ongoing protest by the Nigerian youths against the brutality of the SARS operatives.
Bashir Ahmad, an aide to the president on new media, made this known on Friday, October 9, amid nationwide demonstration against the age-long police brutality.
He said Buhari was notified about the development by the inspector general of police Muhammed Adamu on Thursday, October 8.
Ahmad stated that President Buhari will issue fresh directives to the police, assuring that necessary actions will be taken in the interest of Nigerians.

According to the presidential aide, “good people of Nigeria” have the rights to protest and express their grievances to their leaders.
